Sony Vegas Pro 12 – Black Screen Preview
Hello, I been using Vegas Pro 12 for a little while now, and have suddenly encountered a very particular issue that I’ve yet to find a solution for. The preview screen, and any other in-Vegas visual editor, with the exception of the timeline, does not display anything other than a black or blank screen for video, even though audio shows up. I find my issue to be strangely particular as I have been searching all over, trying many different things for a solution, yet to no avail. It happens with any type of video clip, it happens within the trimmer and otherwise, it is not quicktime as I have attempted downgrading that to no avail. It also happens with generated media within Vegas Pro (I have attempted adding text media with the same results). I have checked many settings, including that mute videos is not on, that the trimmer has not been set awkwardly, that split-screen view is set to FX Bypassed, and even un-checked the “Close Media” checkbox in preferences. Absolutely nothing as worked thus far, including a full uninstall and re-install. Please help.

I am also having the same problem..did you figure out a solution? I am using Vegas 11 though. Weird.
