Murph, it makes no sense that the camera is seen but not the deck.
At this point, all I can suggest is to power everything down, plug your computer into your deck, turn the deck on and then turn the computer on.

Yup, I tried that Power Down and even tried turning things on in both directions to see if it made any difference. Nada….

At this Point I’ve rebuilt a New Windows XP-Pro Machine so I can still use my old Digital Rapids DRC-1500 Streaming Media and Capture board.
I’m in the process of setting it up. It has an OLD Fire Wire Connection and I’m also putting in an old Pinnacle MovieBoard setup on that Box (Just for Fun) as that also has a firewire connection on it’s board. Almost there…..
I’ll Let you guys know what happens. 😎
