Sony Vegas Pro 11 Stops at 21% when loading…
Posted by Alex Jimenez on July 9, 2012 at 6:13 amOkay, I’ve been making a project with Sony Vegas Pro 11 for a while…WAS ALMOST DONE WITH IT, and it stops working. When I open the file, the bar on the bottom left loads but STOPS at 21%….It won’t load further…
I have 6 GBs of RAM, an ATI Radeon 6570 Graphics card, an an AMD X2 Dual Core Processor. I don’t think it has to do with the performance, I think there’s a file corrupted…Right?
Please help! I feel like crying right now. Heh heh… =*(

July 9, 2012 at 7:47 amYes, it could be a corrupted file. As option number one,
Instead of opening the project, try importing it into vegas
as you would a regular video clip and see if it imports.Steve Rhoden

July 9, 2012 at 5:01 pmYeah, it’s a corrupt file alright. Doesn’t want to import. Sony just doesn’t want to respond. Any other options? Really appreciate the help Steve. =)

July 9, 2012 at 5:43 pmAhhhh try renaming the folder that the video files
are located in etc, then move them to a different
location…..Now open your project as you normally
would and when the dialogue box comes up prompting you
to locate the files, do so, and see if you have some success.
(try variations of that).Steve Rhoden

July 9, 2012 at 9:24 pmHmm, I moved all the videos from the project to different locations…Like from videos > downloads, downloads > pictures. Still no luck. The loading bar is still becoming stuck at 21%. Should I delete any videos from the project? Thanks again Steve. 🙂

July 10, 2012 at 1:04 amCan you detect which video file its stuck at, at 21%?
If you can, temporarily remove it and open up the project
again, if a prompt comes up about that file missing, skip it
and see if it loads.Steve Rhoden

July 10, 2012 at 3:02 amThis is the weirdest error I’ve ever encountered on a Sony Vegas program. I have deleted all of the files from the project, opened it, but it’s still stuck on 21%. I guess I’ll have to redo my project over again. It’s okay Steve. I hope y’all will find a solution to a similar problem soon! 🙂

July 10, 2012 at 3:34 amYeah, we all should just wait for the last update huh? Also, Vegas 11 doesn’t allow plugins you buy. I’ll make sure of that next time.
