Sony Vegas Pro 11: Any news on upgrade deals for Cow users?

Kinda bummed that I upgraded to 10 a little over a month ago at about
2X that amount. A bit disappointed at some of the lack of functionality with the capture software…Sony must think tape is dead and so they haven’t made this tool more robust. Guess those of us who plan to work with archived material just have to deal with it.

Oh and yeah…I’ve been a registered Sony Vegas user for years… I’ve yet to get any upgrade nudge e-mail from them too!

The hard and fast rule is that the update is free if you bought a previous version within 30 days of the new release.
Contact Sony Customer Service, explain your situation and mention your purchase date and they may decide to give you the update for free.
You won’t get anything unless you ask for it so politely ask for it.

Update on my upgrade. Contacted customer support via e-mail on Sony website, explained my situation and about 2 weeks later got an e-mail authorizing my “free upgrade” to Pro 11. 🙂 I had bought Pro 10 about a month +/- before the release so I’m a happy camper.
Paid for S/H and got a hard copy along with the new Pro Titler.
