Sony vegas over scan.
Hi, I need some advice on getting rid of overscan becuase when I view my project on my computer screen it looks fine but when imported and burned using DVD architect then view on a TV screen there are clear signs of overscan and the sides of the video are missing. I browsed the web looking for a solution and some people suggest using the track motion tab and making the video smaller, while others suggest using the event pan and crop. The trouble is if I use any of these the video goes all for a better word “wobbly” and “wavy” around any edges in the footage, I cant really explain but it is more noticeable when there is movement in the shot.
Is there any way I can use either the track motion/event pan and crop to “zoom out” so when I play the video back through DVD all of the image is there.
I am using the pal dv wide-screen 25fps template and am rendering using mpeg2, with the DVD architect pal wide-screen template using all of the default settings except I have checked “two pass” as recommended by allot of Vegas users.
Just a note the wobbly lines do appear in both the preview window and in the rendered video.
Thanks!
