One final question I guess. In your original post as well as the screen shots of the Vegas crash report, the dates are Nov 2013, almost 2 years ago. Has this been going on for that long? Why not a recent screen shot? Just curious. I did try opening in the file in V12 and again, there was no problem. One final suggestion. I would recommend you open a new thread in which you list all the steps that you’ve taken (e.g. transcoding to XAVC-S, turning off GPU, etc). At this point, no one is going to read through 100+ posts. Perhaps, someone else can take a fresh look. Having done all these things, my suspicion at this point is that there’s an issue with your PC–drivers, especially video, up to date? I guess there’s always the nuclear option of re-installing your OS, but I for one would be loathe to do that. One thing you might consider doing if you open a new thread is to do a screen recording of you opening vegas, loading your project, doing nothing and then seeing it crash. Just an idea.
