  Sony Vegas keeps freezing?

  So I recently installed Vegas 10, though it seems to freeze a lot more than Vegas 9. This wasn’t a huge problem until the project I’ve been working on stopped loading completely. I would load it up, and Vegas would freeze about 2 seconds into putting everything into the timeline. I’ve also recently installed Twixtor, which may have slowed performance.
  Does anybody have any ideas of what I can do to just open the darned thing?
