I ordered one as well, to Finland. 🙂 A good deal, even though shipping + customs add $70.

I am not speaking from first-hand iformation, but other threads today have indicated that the B&H Vegas 6 package is Vegas only – not Vegas+DVDA.

I don’t know if this complicates your upgrade plans…

Thanks for the info Steve. I use Adobe Encore for doing my DVD’s so this won’t affect me – good to know though.

Can anyone tell if this comes with all the updates that were done to the origninal 6.o? I think they got to 6.0D or something like that. THe reason I ask, is that the latest version of Vegas 6 allows you to extract certain parts of a non copyrighted DVD by importing via a menu command.

I also heard that if you buy Vegas 6 – all updates to 6 are free (which would be great if it were true).

    Thnaks.

Really, all you need is the serial number that comes in that package. With that serial number, you can download the 6.0d update, install it, and register it just fine. So it really doesn’t matter what version is on the CD that comes in the package.

I’m not 100% sure but the B&H Photo version might be LE. Which I also purchased. I do not know how to confirm but they day after I bought the Vegas & DVD Architect upgrade the price went up and said not available for LE version. All I know is the disc does not say LE, it did not come with box or manual.
Although I believe the manual is a pdf on the disc, but i never installed version 6 just installed the version 7. I also saw that B&H was giving Vegas 6 free with some video camera purchase, maybe the same discs, which are usually LE.

The B&H $99 version is the FULL version of Vegas 6. NO “+DVD”!
