Sony Vegas Crashing
Hello. I’ve been working on a project in Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 for a while. However, recently, it has started crashing. The project size is 284 KB and it is 2 minutes and 26 seconds long. I’m always viewing it in Draft: Auto in the preview window and I have Windows 7 on a 32 bit laptop with 4GB of ram.
I have never experienced this before and it is really annoying me. I can open other projects, but not this one. I open up Sony Vegas, open the project and let the thumbnails load. Most of the thumbnails load properly, except the last one/ones. Sometimes the last thumbnail is red and sometimes it’s just plain. But when I set my time indicator to somewhere different in the timeline, Sony Vegas crashes. It usually says that an exception has occured. Most of the clips are WMV files that I have rendered previously and they all play properly in Windows Media Player.
I really hope some of you can help me. Thanks in advance.

I experienced similar issues several times in version 8.x. Every time I had to figure out what file(s) were the problem, delete them and re-copy them from the backup.
