    I record In avc hd and the qaulity is just fine. But it crashes (sometimes) When i open The AVCHD video but when i try to render with my settings or try to play back the video vegas crashes ideas?

    I may help to know what PVR you are using. It is also worth noting that some camera manufacturers tinker with the standard implementation of AVCHD, meaning that your AVCHD is not what the editing software is expecting, hence the crashes.

    My system specs: Intel i7 970, 12GB RAM, ASUS P6T, Vegas Pro 10e (x32/x64), Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, Vegas Production Assistant 1.0, VASST Ultimate S Pro 4.1, Neat Video Pro 2.6

    Like Nigel said, it would be helpful to know what PVR you are using, I myself use a Hauppauge HDPVR and I know that there are problems with using the files in Vegas, if by any chance you are also using the Hauppauge, then I would recommend using the Playstation 3 option to record your videos (m2ts format), I have always used it and never had any problems.
