Have you changed or added ANYTHING to your computer lately?

    Marcis, try placing the mouse
cursor at the bottom of that box…and when the cursor turns
into a double headed arrow, you just drag down the bottom
of the box and all options will be visible.
Or if that doesnt help…go to view then window layouts and
select load default layout …then see if this clears up.

    Hi Marcis

Have you been playing with your computer display font sizes? Make sure they are set to normal size (in my case, 96 DPI). I thought I was being smart and tried to compensate for my failing eyesight, but it led to the type of problems you are experiencing.

Kim, I had a similar problem (failing eyesight & a 24″ 1920 X 1200 monitor) and found out through trial & error that a font size of 106 dpi (110%) worked well and still allowed me to read all the various menus.
Just don’t do what I did when I was trying different sizes and accidentally set it to 10% instead of 110%.
The print was so small that I couldn’t read anything and had to guess at what buttons I was pushing.
