    Hey everyone. 🙂

I’m not sure what is going on with my Sony Vegas 7.0 right now, but, I was just installing New Blue FX (which, I bought) on my computer. I was having a few issues with the installation, but I thought I figured it out and so I tried to open Sony Vegas, but NOTHING happened. I went to the start menu and clicked on the icon again and again, but nothing. So, I decided to restart my computer. I tried to open it again, but still, nothing. I was just on it earlier today, and I just can’t understand it.

    Any ideas?

I run Windows Vista on a Gateway laptop, with an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU at 1.50GHz.
I have 2038 MB on RAM left. And it’s a 32-bit operating system.

Any help is appreciated, I’m getting quite worried.

Try holding down Ctrl+Shift while double-clicking on the Vegas icon. This will reset all of the Vegas defaults but might allow it to open. You would have to set your properties the way you like after that.

I would uninstall the NewBlue FX and see if that helps. If not, contact NewBlue tech support since that’s the last thing that you changed on your computer before Vegas stopped working.

Alrighty, I keep attempted to uninstall New Blue, but it freezes my uninstall program before getting anywhere on the progress bar at all. 🙁
