    What is a Crossfade?
And is there a way/tool to create an automatic crossfade?

    I appreciate your help.

Crossfades refer to the overlapping of two adjacent clips which gives the effect of dissolving one scene into another. I use this a lot for holiday and travel films, as this also seems to depict the passing of time. It is very easy to achieve. In Vegas 5.0 you can enable automatic crossfades by choosing the Automatic Crossfade option from the Options menu. Once this is selected you merely slide the last clip into the previous one and it will overlap and give the crossfade effect. In Vegas 6.0 there is an icon on the toolbar to enable automatic crossfades.

You’ve now asked this same question multiple time across multiple cow forums using multiple names and have received multiple answers. If you’re trolling, go away. If you’re serious, stick with ONE name and ask ONCE and read the answer(s) you’ve already gotten.
