Sony Vegas 5.0 No video
I have sony vegas 5.0 and i used it to make alot of videos, in conjunction with something called avi splitter (i would split movies and make montages out of them) I stored everything on my E drive, but vegas was installed on c. my c drive got hosed with malware, so i got rid of it, got a new c drive, reinstalled windows, then reinstalled vegas 5.0. when i try to use those avi splits on vegas it only has video, and even my old saved vegas files have no video. Note at first when i tried to play these avis on windows media play i had to download a divx codec, do i have to get that for vegas? if not, then what do i do?

It sounds like you had a codec on your old system that is not on your new hard drive. I would get a copy of GSpot and drop the file into it and it will tell you which codec is missing from your system.
