Yea, that’s kind of an odd way to advertise that features. It can be interpreted in several ways. One is the loudness wars in music. The other is the loudness wars in broadcast between the program providers and the commercials. You win by not having your program rejected because it is too loud. You DO want to win that war. Especially if you are paying a post house to make you HDCAM tapes for submission because when your submission gets rejected, you have to pay to get another tape made. No fun at all!
