Hi. I run Vegas Pro 12.0 on a Bootcamped Mac. I haven’t used it in a while, so I haven’t checked in here in over a year… I am about to start a new project, and I was curious if Vegas has solved the ongoing crashing problems?
    I see there’s a new build available: https://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/updates/vegaspro
    Vegas Pro | English | Version 12.0 Build 770 | 64-bit | 231.8 MB
Does this solve those lock-up / grayed-back-screen issues?

Thanks Brad. I went through all of that 14 months ago with very knowledgeable people on here. We were all having different crashing problems, and came to the conclusion that Vegas Pro 12 was released with a million bugs. I see that a lot of the builds since then have included a lot of bug fixes.

Stable yes to a point, but i cant guarantee it on a Bootcamped Mac.
Give the latest build a try.

Almost all the crashing problems I’ve had with Vegas have been related to the GPU. Try turning off GPU acceleration whenever possible.

Fix it? I didn’t know it was broken. I just run it practically every day with very few problems. Usually user-induced.

I use a Bootcamped Macbook pro and SVP 12 all the time. Little issue…other than the random crash that SVP is notorious for…pretty stable for the most part…

    Good luck!
