Sony Vegas 12 stop rendering as WMV

Hi!

I work with Sony Vegas 12 for some time now and it always worked perfectly. Some days ago I had a problem on my computer and I had to uninstall some programs. Now, reinstalling Sony Vegas 12, I find that it works well but when I want to render as WMV this option is disabled.
I’ve tried everything but the Render As Windows Media Video (WMV) option remains disabled.
Can anyone give me a hand and tell me why this is happening?

Make sure you have cleared ALL the “Render As” Search criteria.

If Windows Media is disabled it means that Vegas Pro doesn’t think the codec is installed. You might want to download Windows Media Encoder 9 Series from Microsoft and install it. Something you uninstalled may have messed it up. Also make sure that you don’t have any codec-paks installed like K-Lite. They will mess things up for Vegas.

Thanks Graham but I’ve already found the problem. When I tried to do the rendering of the movie, I just clicked on the Windows Media Video option. Of course the “Render” option was disabled, because I forgot to click the little black triangle that opens the 8 rendering options corresponding to the Windows Media Video V11 (*. Wmv).
Such a simple thing that I stupidly did not realize. Now is everything ok! Anyway, thanks for your help.
