Sony vegas 12 keeps crashing
Hello,
so Sony Vegas 12 was working fine on mij HP laptop, until a few hours ago. Everytime I open a project, it opens it normally and the preview works, but as soon as I do ANYTHING on the timeline, the preview goes black. If I click a few more times, Sony Vegas just freezes completely. I can go into all the settings and stuff without the program crashing, but I can’t edit clips whatsoever. My laptop is running Windows 7 64 bit
Does anyone know any solutions for this problem?Thanks in advance

Have you added any codec packs before the problem started. If so that might be your problem.

But no, I haven’t added any codec packs. I don’t think I made any changes at all. Just one day it was working fine (Except for occasional crashes) but the next day this problemen occured :/ -
Malware, Virus?? Try running a virus check and Malwarebyte anti malware to see if that might be your problem..

Verify your memory, disks for errors, and your windows system log for errors with hardware and software. If there really has been no software changes, then I start looking for symptoms of failing hardware.
