Sony Vegas 12 keeps crashing when I import/open files
Recently, about a week ago, Vegas has been acting up. Whenever I try to import a file, either it be a video file or just a picture, Vegas crashes and I have to shut it down. Other info:
I use a Windows 8 x64-bit laptop with 8 GB RAM (7.88 GB usable). The files that I try to import are wmv, avi, jpeg, png, mov, and mpeg.Please help!

Clean up your computer then reinstall Vegas and see
if things improve. You can use CCleaner to clean it up,
its free and easy to use, yet effective.

ok then, Do you have these files on an external drive or something?

I have my files on a 8 GB flash drive. I also have other files in a 6 GB flash drive.

Get the files off your flash drive and onto an internal hard drive, preferably not drive C.
