Sony Vegas 11 Major problems (Render window Crash , App crash with Magic Bullet, x64 version wont launch)
Greetings,
About a week ago, i had a fully functional Sony Vegas 11 both x86 and x64 versions along with Magic Bullets 1.4 (x86).There was only one minor problem, i was getting the “file not found” errors when i was trying to import some jpg sequences; thus i thought of uninstalling and reinstalling might fix the problem.
Since this uninstall everything went really bad.Sony Vegas 11 keep getting errors in various menus mostly when i try to insert some Magic Bullet Looks 1.4 effects (x86), or when i try to render a file (error occurs while loading the presets) and of course i can’t import image sequences.
Version x64 will not even launch since then.
I tried a lot of things, from the most simple ( shift+control while launching program and reset everything) to complete uninstall, delete all Sony Vegas files i could find (in App Data) plus Registry keys, and even formated 3 times my PC without being able to make Vegas 11 fully function again.
Other things i tried:
Uninstall – Reinstall Magic Bullet Looks 1.4.
Tried various types of video format in vegas.
Tried project with no sound or no video (during render).
Tried with no additional codecs (for render crash).
Tried to google my problems of course.
Without any kind of system protection (firewalls, antivirus or other similar systems)Today, i saved the render function by using system restore, since for some strange reason it stopped working again. To be more accurate, i was adding some codecs for GOM player from GOMs official site.I was suspecting that some codecs might causing the render crash problem (even though didn’t had any problem in the past), so kept a System Restore Point just before install these.
At the same time, i can work on my Vegas pro 10 (x32) with no problem including Magic Bullets.Only problem here is that my project files are already in Vegas 11 and not compatible with vegas 10.
My system:
Windows 7 Enterprise x64.
Intel I5 3.3ghz overclocked at 4.1.
4gigs ram.
Nvidia 9600GT (latest driver).
