I’ve been using Dashwood Stereo 3D LE with good results. It’s a great tool and you can make adjustments in real-time to verify S3D dailies. You still have to render, but for $100 bucks, you can’t beat it. However, I’m thinking about migrating away From FCP so I downloaded a trial version of Sony Vegas 11 on my new Windows Machine. Unfortunately, it is difficult to align left and right sources because the software applies +- frame moves to both video tracks, instead of allowing you to isolate one track. This forces you to use your mouse to align shots, not a very accurate control.

In any case, I noticed that the Stereoscopic plug in (effects) adjustment controls on Vegas 11 are not functional yet.

Does anybody know when the stereoscopic adjustment controls will be enabled in 11?

Hmmm, Vegas Pro 11 has fully functional S3D alignment controls for me. So did Version 10. And the Medtron Make3D plugin [the free one] worked very well in versions 8 and 9 too.

It’s most likely that you have not properly formed a stereoscopic subclip, which is why the plugin would not allow any adjustment.
