    Sony Vegas 10.0 Preference Settings

    I want to optimize this program to better suit my hardware.
    What do I set the dynamic RAM to or the MAX threads or anything else for that matter.

    PC SPECS:
    RAM: 16GB patriot @1600MHZ
    CPU: intel i7 2600K @4.30GHz
    GPU: ASUS HD6870 @950/1150MHz
    HDD: 2x 2TB WD Caviar Black

    Generally, the default parameters are the best. If you never plan to use RAM preview (Shift B), then you can set the preview RAM to zero. This allows the program to use more. But since you already have 16Gb of RAM, I doubt that you would see any difference by changing from the default.
