sony vegas 10.0 color gradient fade?

Add more points to the gradient and make the color of those new points transparent.

Cant you just drag the corners of the gradient event in and out to make it fade, just like a video event?

If he is talking about fading the event but I assumed he meant the gradient itself. Otherwise it’s no different than fading any other kind of event.
