You need to fix this problem. There should be no reason that Vegas Pro 10c does not install on your PC. This is probably at the heart of why your Microsoft C run-time libraries are throwing errors. I would try a complete uninstall and re-install.

I really think it’s tied to Vegas Pro 10c not working at all. Something is really messed up with the libraries on your PC and you need to sort this out. Ignoring it and re-encoding the files is just a band-aid until the next problem happens. Vegas Pro 10d is coming out soon and you’re going to want to be using it so I would figure out how to get 10c working.
