  Sony Vegas 10 having trouble viewing a file correctly

  Hi all,

  I’m trying to use a .MOV file in Sony Vegas 10 but i am coming across with some difficulties. My laptop had no problems playing this file but now with my new desktop computer i am having problems. I am running XP windows 32bit. The problem is, it is accepting the file in the timeline but the colours and graphics of the file are all wrong (wrong colours, not as sharp etc.). Anyone know how to solve this issue for me please, am i missing codecs? What should i download? Full information of the file below:

  File type: Quicktime (.MOV)
  Mime Type: video/quicktime
  Codec :avc1
  Name: H.264

  Info gathered by using the program GSpot.
