When avi files are edited and then rendered in Sony Vegas, there are two files created mpeg and wav. And a .vf file is created.
Then to put the video on DVD one has to go to DVD architect which places the files in a DAR file and finally the files can be burned to DVD.

Now for the 64,000 question? Is there anyway to get the files in Flash 8’s video encoder so that I can stream video on the internet?

The “.vf” file would be the project file.

If you’re getting MPG and WAV, you’re telling it to render for DVD. Tell it to render DV-AVI and you’ll get an AVI file.

After rendering to DV-AVI, use that in a flash renderer to create your flash file.
