Sony PVW 2800 deck
We have a Sony PVW2800 deck which is used mostly for making beta SP dubs from other sources. Recently, the dubs have displayed periodic fluttering color bursts. I suspect that the heads may need degaussing. Any suggestions on the best way to accomplish this? Or does anyone suspect that it could be a different problem? Thanks.

tpes are degaused, not decks. It does sound like a head poblem though. Clean it well an try another tape. If it persists, you’ll need to take it in for some head work. Ya gettin’ any error codes?
