Sony PVM-1354Q 13″ Trinitron Video Monitor
Hi everyone, I just purchase a Sony PVM-1354Q 13″ Trinitron Video Monitor. Tried to preview my work in after effect and adobe premier, but it did not show any image. I will like to know if this product is not conpactable with AE or Premier. If it does, can you please help me figure out what am doing wrong. I have ordered for DV-Bridge+ (Bidirectional DV to SDI/AES Converter) can this help the problem? Thanks and I appreciate your help

That BVM monitor is certainly compatible with AE and FCP.
I have the same one, working with AE ad FCP.
The issue is the connection from your Mac to the monitor via your video card.
Now I am not familiar with your card, but that is where your problem may be.Just to save yourself some time, you might want to check/do a few things:
– make sure the monitor is indeed powered ON
– make sure your video source (front button A, B, C) on the unit is properly selected for your video input to the PVM.
– try connecting another source (VCR, cable box) to the composite or S-Video input and see if it works. If it does not, then the problem is your monitor.hope this helps.
