All of my green screen shooting has been in SD, so I feel like I’m a bit of a novice with my new 350 camera. Is anyone getting clean keying using the 4:2:0, 35 Mbps recording internal to the PMW350 or should I rent the AJA KiPro? Will shooting green screen using the cameras slomo settings cause any unforeseen issues? Ideally I’d like to bump up the shutter speed to 1/100th. I’ve never done that, so other than needing more light, does that introduce any new issues. Thanks.

Using an EX1 I have no problem using the EX codec but you must shoot progressive for best results. Of course shooting to a 4:2:2 I frame codec would help but I’ve been surprised how good me keys are shooting 1080p with the EX codec.

Have you tried any sloMo when shooting green screen?
