I need to film in the snow (a skiing event) and am scared of over exposure. Whats a good fail safe setting to make sure nothings over exposed?

    Thanks for your tips, Oliver

I have found these picture profiles at AbelCine. Do you think that any of these could be good for my particular skiing project?

I wouldn’t worry too much about Picture Profiles but I would worry about correct exposure.

Use the Zebra facility on the camera and you’ll soon see where the over exposure is. You will need to over expose the snow to some degree if the people are not to be under exposed but the zebra is a tremendously useful guide.
