Sony PDWF 335L, HD/SDI out?
Posted by Geof Gilland on April 28, 2009 at 3:13 pmTrying to find a user or rep that has the sony pdwf 335L. Does this camera have a BNC SD/HDSI output. Brochure says yes. Sales reps say no. Thanks in advance.

April 28, 2009 at 8:04 pmThe PDWF-335 does not have HD/SDI output.The PDWF-335 has component
(HD/SD Analogue) video output. The brochure states this spec.
The PDWF-355 has HD/SDI output. -

April 28, 2009 at 10:04 pmFor the 335, this is directly from the Sony website. That is all I can say.
SDI Out BNC x 1
(HD/SD switchable)
HD-SDI: SMPTE 292M (w/embedded audio)
SD-SDI: SMPTE 259M (w/embedded audio) -

April 28, 2009 at 10:14 pmmy intent in the post was to get a response from someone who owned or had a 335. i am aware of what multiple web sites say…i’ve investigated them as well.
FWIW, my salesperson has contacted Sony Sales rep and they have indicated that the brochure is not correct.(then fix it or remove it,right?) the 335 does not have HD/SDI out but the 355 does.
thanks.
