    this is a camera question…but no forum for this…

    thinking of buying this camera 2nd hand. to use for web content with potential for broadcast.

    love the PD150. cant find one for sale.This one described ‘as new’
    $2700
    0peration 29 x 10,
    Drum Run 12 x10
    Tape Run 10 x 10
    Threading 22 x 10

    Seems a bit expensive. arent these only around $3k for a new one? and also, not sure what the operation, drum etc mean specifically. only know this describes usage.

    anyone have any advice?

    There’s no way to know what a used camera has been through. Make the offer based on what you want to spend. You either end up with a used camera or you keep looking.
    Could be bargain. Does the package include more than the camera? Batteries, chargers, aux lenses, cases, good tripod?
