Sony HDV workflow between final cut and sony vegas 10
friend has a 90 min feature shot on HDV, I need to do the color correction on my sony vegas pc, and return to him for editing in his timeline on final cut pro
Is cineform still the best answer, if so what are the settings to keep the top quality going back and forth as he may have to make different versions of the final corrected show. also what should we output for festivals? H.264 on a dvd?
I am running win xp pro, don’t see that listed on the vegas 11 upgrade?

I only ask to get up to date , as vegas 11 just came out and who knows what conversion software is being using right now etc. I fully realize that this subject has been beaten to death, but things have been changing so fast, that year old posts just might not be valid
thanks for your help, the show has won some small festivals and is going to a big one on New York, so would like to fix the color for my friend as i am a experienced telecine colorist
