I’ve used my Sony 40G hard disk drive with FCP since i bought my V1u back in March. I shot it in 24p not 24pA so it shouldn’t be too complicated. I have a MCPro with 4gigs of ram and an octocore. Only it’s caused the log and capture to crash now that i am using FCS2. Not sure if it worked ever in FCS2 now. Been using tape as backup thankfully. The native files are unreadable by FCP and don’t really want to to convert them in MPEG streamclip.
    Any ideas?

As a moderator I saw the ORIGINAL title in your SUBJECT line…and I am GLAD you were able to fix it.

I too have made that particular typo…

Sorry, I can offer no help…just amused at the original subject line.

What’s funny is that i edited the post to add more info and then i looked at what i wrote instead of hard disk drive and was like oh my god. i figured somebody must have seen it.

[gnomebard] “i figured somebody must have seen it.”

Yup, I saw it. Made me laugh out loud, but then I thought…..”I’ve done that, too.” 🙂
