Sony FS7 audio problem
Hi there. Today I have noticed a problem with audio. I plug one wireless receiver into Channel 1 (XLR), and perfect audio. I plug the next receiver into channel 2 – a hiss is introduced to both channels.
I then unplug channel 1, perfect audio on channel 2. So they both work great independently, but unusable together.
Both Senheisser G3 units. Anyone out there had a similar issue or can offer advice?

Marc, I haven’t observed this. I’d suggest trying to isolate the problem: use different mic’s, perhaps hardwired dynamic mics in case there is a wireless issue.

Thanks Bob. As it transpired it was because the phantom power was turned on for bothg channels – which was never an issue before so that’s what was incredibly frustrating – I just didn’t think of it. As soon as I turned them off it was good to go.
