  Sony Fs-700 still image question

  Hello all, we were recently trying out the still image capabilities of our 700, and I noticed something odd. According the the camera settings and the manual, stills taken with the camera should be a little over 8 mb. But after taking a few and importing them, they are all in the 1-2 mb range, although their size is 3840 × 2160. Any idea why there is a drastically lower mb count? Thanks!
