    Hi

I have been experiencing some transcode issues with footage from specific Sony cameras. We had been getting footage in from Sony Burano and it was AMA linking fine, but transcoding to DNXHD the transcodes would be corrupt. No playback, getting Error Code CATDecodeCvtr_Task::Execute() CONSISTENCY CHECK FAILURE!?!:[<idNum>] intermittently when scrubbing through in both source and project window.

We were able to resolve the issue on Sony Burano by updating the Sony XAVC nablet plugins, but this issue has cropped up again with Sony FX6 footage.

Particularly strange because we have been ingesting Sony FX6 without issue up until this point. Sony XAVC nablet does not help. This issue has been the same on 2 of our 3 machines, one of ours is transcoding as normal. From looking through the forums file corruption has been identified as the culprit but this doesn’t appear to be the case, AMA linking is fine, transcoding is perfect on one of our machines and clips are behaving normally otherwise.

The machine I have been working off is an iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019 with MacOS Ventura 13.7.2 running Avid Media Composer v24.10

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Completely unable to identify a cause for this issue.

    Thanks
