Sony EX3 importing problem
I’m having problem importing files in FCX or ADOBE PREMIER from my sony EX3 XDCAM.
I didn’t face this problem before, but now can’t import any files to FCX or ADOBE PREMIER. It’s gives me error massage. I tried converting files but still same issue, no software recognised the movie files. I can only play files using VLC Player.Recording type HQ 720p 50p

For FCP X you need the Sony PDZK-LT2 plugin. For any recent version of Premiere you do not need any plugins. Use the Media browser and navigate to the clips. If they do not import check them in Content Browser or one of the Sony applications. If you still can’t import please provide more info re the error and your software versions.

Thanks its working now, i have downloaded Sony PDZK-LT2 plugin.

i am using CS6 premier pro, when i import file through Media browser, it gives me error message “The file has no Audio or video Stream”

do you see this for all EX .mp4 files? CS6 should support EX files linked via the Media Browser. do any of our applications play well with the file? try using Content Browser or Catalyst Browse.
