    Hi all,

I just made a DVD in Sony DVD architect and noticed upon playing it on the TV that the quality has been reduced somewhat and that there is a lot of flickering. My original video files were HD, rendered to mpeg2 for dvd architect in sony vegas. I hear this is a flicker filter in Sony DVD Architect but I can’t for the life of me find it. I am using version 4.5. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks 🙂

The flicker filter in DVD Architect is just for menus not for video. Do the mpeg2 videos flicker when you play them back on your PC or just after you make a DVD? It’s very strange that DVD Architect would make a properly rendered mpeg2 look any different since it should just transfer the file without any re-rendering.

The flicker is on the menus, the video themselves are fine. I have just re-rendered all the videos with deinterlacing so I am hoping that will fix the problem.
