Sony Deck Disappeared!
Just upgraded to Tiger and FCP 5 Studio. Everything works fine except FCP won’t recognize my Sony DSR-25 deck. Tried refreshing external devices, tried switching to Firewire Basic, tried turning off and unplugging everything, but no luck. The deck is recognized in iMovie, but not in FCP.
Weird thing is we had this problem before when we installed FCP HD. Believe it or not, it started working when we ditched the legit version and borrowed a bootleg copy from a friend. (What’s the harm, huh? We bought it anyway.) Well, now the drive is gone again.
Here are my specs: Dual 2.5 Ghz G5, 2 GB RAM, OS 10.4.2, FCP5, QT 7.0.1, Sony DSR-25 DV Deck.
Any ideas?
