sony dbeta lifespan?
Hey all…not sure what forum this should be posted in, but, figured many of you may use a DVW-A500 dbeta in your work. what I’m trying to determine is where is my deck in it’s lifespan based on the number of hours…it need a new circuit board which could run the repair in the 3k to 6k range and i am weighing my options…
so, how do these numbers compare to yours!?

H02 DRUM HOURS = 1,823

If you use it often, go ahead and do the swap. If not, see what you can scap it for then just rent as ya need.
I managed to avoid ever buying one… my main client being a betaSP house. I rented when I needed to but I don’t see ever having to do it again at this point.
