    Hi!

I need to transfer essence marks (markers) from XDCam footage. The only way to do this is via Sony Content Browser.

But, when I do this (Import to FCPX via XML generated by SCB), all my clips that are in fact 1080/25i show up in FCPX as 720/60p! Files themselves are correct and when imported manually, they show up correctly as 1080/25i. But I NEED the XML to transfer over the markers…

Can anyone help? I’m sure it can be fixed by editing the XMLs, but I didn’t find any relevant parameter. Thanks!

EDIT: Everything is at latest version: OSX 10.9.1, FCPX 10.1 and Content Browser 2.2.

Did you find a solution to this? A friend of mine is suffering the same problem! Ridiculous apple would change the file structure!

No, sadly I didn’t. I’m working around this by exporting to FCP7 XML and then translating that with 7toX. One more step, but doable.

Ah yep thought that would be a way around it. Typical sony slow to update software.
