Sony BVS-3100 switcher sync question
Hello,
I have a Sony BVS-3100 switcher, in a church. I am having a sync problem with the switcher. When i switch between the different sources the video rolls. When i purchased the switcher i was under the understanding that it had an internal sync generator, so i didn’t have to sync my sources externally (i guess i was wrong?).
I have 4 sony DSR-250 cameras, 1 computer (composite video output), 2 sony DSR-20 VTR’s, and a Hortia CGS-50 Color Bar generator, that I need to switch between using the switcher to output to a projector as well as a DVD player at the church.
Can anyone help me with the sync issue? What other equipment do i need?

Hey did you ever resolve your sync problem? I have the same switcher SONY BVS-3100 and I think I’m getting the problem you described you were getting. Can you tell me how you resolved your problem (assuming that you did resolve it?).
