September 29, 2015 at 12:40 amI know that publicly many professionals are not to speak of using Vegas because of relations with ADOBE and AVID, but I guess I just find it funny when Sony itself, boast of AVID.

September 29, 2015 at 2:23 amSo it goes Neal. Sony Creative Software and Sony Pictures hardly
has anything in common when its all said and done. They are basically
two different companies that don’t pay attention to each other.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

September 29, 2015 at 11:51 amYou do realize that the article is talking about Pro Tools and the fact that Sony Digital Pictures just installed the largest Pro Tools Audio Hardware Console ever? This has nothing to do with video.

September 29, 2015 at 1:38 pmProbably Neal is implying that they should have invested in Soundforge
(which by the way is not 64bit compatible as yet) and a
Soundforge Audio Hardware Console, lolSteve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

September 29, 2015 at 7:06 pmI know it was about Pro Tools (AVID being the Parent Company.) I just found it funny Sony was boasting AVID stuff. I know the two companies are totally separate and asides from sharing the name “Sony” have nothing in common. I’m not in the dark there. I was just posting something that sounded funny. 🙂 Like Nike boasting about how their new shoes have soles made by Adidas.

Oh I get it. You mean the names of the two companies sound funny in the same headline. Yea, i guess acquisitions make strange bed-fellows.
