sony betasp picture shifting
Hello,
I have a sony Betasp PVW2800 and the picture is shifting alittle every 30 seconds or so. Any suggestions? its hard to describe but
it shifts upwards and exposes a black line and then the top of the picture ends up on the bottom.stumped

Do you have a sync-generator feeding it?
What is feeding the video input?
Have you tried disconnecting either or both of the above?

Matte is on it – your reference to the vtr could b non-sync. It could also be the tape was recorded 2 field and you need to manually set playback to 2 field on the TBC.
