I’ve rendered my footage to Sony AVCHD in Sony Vegas 9 pro and the playback is in Windows media viewer. The playback looks great until about 2/3rds the way through when it starts getting a little choppy. Is this due to the limitations of the system or is it the clip itself?
I’m a little confused on what Bps to select, the default was 16,000. The clip is approx 4 minutes in length from apple pro res 422 originally Canon Eos550d.
Also what are the best settings for output to DVD via mpeg2?

The choppy playback is probably a limitation of your system. AVCHD is extremely hard to play back smoothly.

You can create a DVD from these using the Main Concept MPEG-2 render type with the DVD Architect NTSC Widescreen video stream, then render the audio separate as Dolby Digital AC3.
