  sony a7s ii audio rec level not available in manual exposure mode

  I am unable to change the audio rec levels on the sony a7s ii. I do have a Nikon lens adapter attached, could that be the issue? When I click the greyed out audio level button in the menu a screen pops up that says “This operation or setting not available as follows – Manual Exposure”. Anyone familiar with how to get the audio rec level to show up?
