  • Sonic Reel DVD — multi colored highlights??

Posted by Jason Brown on October 19, 2005 at 2:15 am

I have read through the help menu of this program more times than I am willing to fess up to…and still cannot figure out how to utilize the 4 colors (black, white, blue, and red) to work with my highlight. Can someone explain the process of creating buttons with highlights that can have 4 different colors?

    Many thanks,

    -Jason

    Jason,

No one can understand Sonic’s instructions for ReelDVD. Everyone I know learned by doing the tutorials from crazypants at the link below. It will take you a few tries to get your head around it, but once you do you’ll understand how menu buttons work in all DVD authoring programs.

    Good luck,

I had a multicolored highlight in less than 10 minutes with that website’s help…thank you so much. The world just got a whole lot more interesting for me!!!

I started to think that there was something wrong with me, why couldn’t I understand it!! Sonic’s help resource sucks…

Good of you to report back Jason. I always like to know when someone is able to forge ahead. Of all the authoring programs out there, ReelDVD is still the one I like best. It makes DVDs that work on almost any player on the market.

I have used ReelDVD on a daily basis for the last 3 years and concur.

I don’t know why the program has its default (after install) settings
for the hilights that way. it makes no sense at all.

    But its a great program!

I still cannot believe Sonic charges more for DVDit! than Reel.
