Song Subtitle help in AE
Hi, I’m making a movie and in it there is a song sequence. I’d like to put captions so people could follow along, and each word would change color when it is song. (Like those sing along videotapes that you see for children). Is there any way to do this in After effects?
I know you can do it by changing the source text through keyframes, but i’m wondering if theres a less painstaking way of doing it.

Dan Eberts’ tutorial on Synchronising animation to audio using After Effect’s layer markers is probably the closest you can get.
