I often edit with list view in the event browser. There are times when I need to find specific timecodes across a number of clips, and this is easy for me.

However, I will select a clip, find the timecode and drop it in the timeline. Suddenly the clip in the browser expands to show every keyword, used range and favorite range, often pushing the following clips right out of view off the bottom of the browser. Now every time I place an edit, I also need to collapse the clip in the browser so I can see all of my clips.

Is there a way around this? Does this make anyone else batty?

It seems like every time Apple makes some really great fixes, they change something that was just fine.

Completely agree. That really annoys me as well.
